My Family’s Favorite Hot Chocolate
A simple, comforting cup we come back to again and again. Not overly sweet, gently spiced, and quite chocolatey. This is the kind of hot chocolate meant for slow evenings, cozy mornings, and shared moments.
Ingredients
- 1½ cups almond milk or any nut-based milk of your choice
- 2 tbsp maple syrup or to taste
- 3 tbsp good-quality cacao powder
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon optional
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a small saucepan.
- Warm gently over medium-low heat, whisking constantly until smooth and fully dissolved.
- Taste and adjust the sweetness if needed.
- Pour into your favorite mugs and enjoy warm.
