Ingredients
- 2 oz Thai tea concentrate see instructions below
- 1.5 oz tequila blanco or reposado for a smoother finish
- Optional Garnish: Star anise, cinnamon stick, or a sprinkle of ground cardamom
For the Thai Tea Concentrate:
- 2 cups water
- ¼ cup Thaimee Tea Powder or other brand
- 1 tbsp sugar or sweetener or to taste
- 1 tbsp sweetened condensed milk or coconut milk for a dairy-free option
- Ice, for shaking
Instructions
- Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan.
- Add the Thai tea mix and sugar stirring to dissolve.
- Simmer for 5 minutes then strain to remove tea leaves.
- Add in condensed milk.
- Let cool completely before using.
