Ingredients
- 1/3 cup popcorn kernels about 70 g
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or your preferred cooking oil
- 1 teaspoon Thaimee Laab Chili Powder adjust to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon Himalayan salt or to taste
Instructions
Mix and Heat
- In a large, heavy-bottomed pot with a lid, add the popcorn kernels, olive oil, Thaimee Laab Chili Powder, and Himalayan salt.
- Use a wooden spatula to toss everything in the pot until the kernels are evenly coated.
Pop the Corn
- Cover the pot with a lid, leaving it slightly ajar to allow steam to escape.
- Heat the pot over medium heat and gently shake it every few seconds to ensure even popping and to prevent burning.
- Serve
- When the popping slows to 2–3 seconds between pops, remove the pot from the heat.
- Transfer the popcorn to a serving bowl and enjoy immediately while it’s fresh and warm!
