Ingredients
1/3
cup
popcorn kernels
about 70 g
2
tablespoons
olive oil
or your preferred cooking oil
1
teaspoon
Thaimee Laab Chili Powder
adjust to taste
1/2
teaspoon
Himalayan salt
or to taste
Instructions
Mix and Heat
In a large, heavy-bottomed pot with a lid, add the popcorn kernels, olive oil, Thaimee Laab Chili Powder, and Himalayan salt.
Use a wooden spatula to toss everything in the pot until the kernels are evenly coated.
Pop the Corn
Cover the pot with a lid, leaving it slightly ajar to allow steam to escape.
Heat the pot over medium heat and gently shake it every few seconds to ensure even popping and to prevent burning.
Serve
When the popping slows to 2–3 seconds between pops, remove the pot from the heat.
Transfer the popcorn to a serving bowl and enjoy immediately while it’s fresh and warm!
Notes
Adjust the Spice:
Start with less
Thaimee Laab Chili Powder
and increase to your liking.
Experiment with Oils:
Coconut or avocado oil can add a nuttier flavor to your popcorn.
Extra Crunch:
Sprinkle a bit more laab seasoning or Himalayan salt on the hot popcorn for added flavor.
